Hey bloggie buddies! I'm so glad I have been able to sneak in crafty time here and there! This is Scrapbook Steals MWM Amethyst #9. I'm baaaaaaaack! Wow, it's been a wild and crazy 2 months! Things are starting to settle down around here though and I was able to scrap again! I decided to use the picture of my husband and I bringing home our beautiful baby girl! All of my papers and tags are from the Authentique Splendid collection. I used a Martha Stewart butterfly punch and Twinery twine to hang them. The title is American Crafts Thickers. And I used the Accent Essentials cricut cartridge to cut out the hexagons. I hope that I can make this scrapping thing a regular occurrence again! I have so many ideas swirling around in my head for all these cute baby pictures I have! Thanks for stopping by!

A new venture!!

Hey bloggie buddies! I guess technically I have 2 new ventures starting. First of all, I am *hopefully* days away from giving birth! But, I have big news for the blog world! A group of friends and I got together and created a new challenge blog! It's called The Paper Girls Challenge Blog. There will be challenges posted the 1st and the 3rd Monday of each month. It will be a variety of challenges: sketch, color combo, theme, etc. Once I get some sort of routine established with my little one, I will be able to actively participate in our challenges! Practical Scrappers LO Contest Round 2!

Hey bloggie buddies! I just wanted to share the LO I made for the Practical Scrappers LO contest. I made it to round 2!!! I used the Fancy Pants Tradition collection for all the papers, button, and brads. The title is a combination of My Little Shoebox letters and American Crafts Thickers. Scrapbook Steals Mid Week Mojo Garnet 5

Whoa! We are already half way through the garnet club! It's week 5 already! And I get to scratch another wedding LO off the list! I've had a busy week so I haven't gotten as much done as I would have liked. I also decided I need to do some craft room cleaning because I could barely see the floor anymore! It looks much better! My desk is still a problem but at least I can walk in there again! For this LO I used the Basic Grey Wisteria collection. It's one of my all time faves!! I also used my favorite cricut cartridge Elegant Edges to cut out my layers. Then I added a couple Sassafras flowers but I'm not sure I like them there now....hmmm. Anyway, thanks for stopping by!

Authentique put up an awesome sketch challenge this month! I used the LO sketch here, but I hope to have time to go back and do the card sketch too! Everything is from the Uncommon collection except for the Going Gray inking around the frames and the Basic Gray ribbon which are from Stampin' UP. I also used some silver liquid pearls on the frames. This is my first time using them and they are awesome!! You can make your pearls as big or small as you want! Thanks for stopping by!
