Summery card

Here is a quick card I made this afternoon for the Scrapbook Steals challenge of Summer Fun. We had to use this image for inspiration. I used the Life is a Beach cricut cartridge, yellow stickles, My Creative Time's Polka Dot Surprise stamp, and Stampin' UP inks in Pink Passion and Chocolate Chip. The buttons and cardstock were all from my stash. Thanks for stopping by!

The wait is over!

Scrapbook Steals is having an online crop this weekend and they have issued some challenges in addition to the weekly MWM! I was able to combine MWM #48, challenge 1, with challenge 2 which is a recipe challenge. The recipe is to use 1 die cut, 3 colors of spray mist (or inks), 5 patterned papers, 7 brads and 9 buttons. I wasn't sure at first if I could pull that off, but I really like how it turned out. I used the My Mind's Eye Lost and Found Madison Ave. collection. The brads and buttons are from Making Memories. I used the Damask Decor cricut cartridge for my flower diecut. The title is Sunny Thickers. My Stampin' UP supplies are Whimiscal Words stamps, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, & Regal Rose ink. Thanks for stopping by!

Scrapbook Steals Mid Week Mojo #45, TT #196

Hey bloggie buddies! June is getting away from me! We'll be in July the end of next week! It's definitely summer here in Texas! It's hot, hot, hot! Anyway, here is my project for the day. This is a picture of most of the grandkids with my Grandma on her 90th birthday! It was so nice to have so many of us together for this very special occasion! I used the sketch from Scrapbook Steals Mid Week Mojo #45 which was done by my friend Lisa. I don't feel like I did the sketch justice, but I think it turned out ok. Here is my recipe: Echo Park's Life is Good collection, I rock gems, Lovely Floral & Elegant Edges cricut cartridges, Making Memories brad, My Creative Time's Polka Dot Surprise stamp, Stampin' UP: So Saffron cs, Brilliant Blue cs & ink, Garden Green cs & ink

Scrapbook Steals Mid Week Mojo #47

Long time, no post! I am back from my family reunion/Grandma's 90th birthday celebration trip! My grandma loved the scrapbook I made! I spent the last 2 days cleaning and organizing in my craft room so I finally had a chance to create something today. This is my take on Scrapbook Steals Mid Week Mojo #47. I decided to only use the left page because I had the right amount of pictures to use. Everything is from Bo Bunny's Jazmyne collection except for the Bazzill cardstock and the flocked lace from the We R Vintage Blue collection. This was a great sketch and I was able to put it together fairly quickly! Thanks for stopping by!

Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge!

Here's another page for my mini album that I started on Monday. I geared this one towards Emma's Throwback Thursday challenge. The requirement was to use an older cartridge with the colors green and yellow. I used the Birthday Cakes cartridge for my flower bunches. The pp is from Making Memories English Garden collection. The photo mat is Stampin' UP's Ballet Blue and the rest was scraps. I wrapped the mat with Peapod and Lemondrop twine from the Twinery that I just got from a swap I did with some friends! I LOVE it! I topped it with a button from the BG Boxer collection. I dotted the flowers with some Green Stickles. Thanks for stopping by!
