If friends were flowers, I'd pick you!
Here's a quick card I whipped up this afternoon. I really like how these colors went together! I started with Stampin' UP's Rose Red cs and added Perfect Plum dsp. The stamp is from Asian Artistry and I used Rose Red and Wild Wasabi ink. The sentiment is from Basic Grey. The ribbon is American Crafts and I stuck a Making Memories deco wedding pin in the bow. Thanks for stopping by!

Scrapbook Steals Mid Week Mojo #27, Crafting W/Christina #15
Here is my LO for MWM #27. I paired it with Crafting With Christna's challenge #15 to use black, white, and silver. This is going to be the first page in my wedding album! All of the papers are from My Mind's Eye Meadowlark. I used the Accent Essentials and Sentimentals cricut cartridges to cut out my flowers. The title and chipboard pieces are American Crafts Thickers. I thought it needed a little something else so I added some Making Memories bling. I put 2 hearts on the journaling block and scattered the flowers throughout. Thanks for stopping by! Oh, and only 3 more to 100!!

Hippo Birthday!!
Here is a cute birthday card I made today with my Create a Critter cricut cartridge. I love using CAC because the cuts are so easy! I used 3 shades of blue scraps for my cute little hippo. I stuck an I-rock gem on the flower. I really liked the "Hippo Birthday" sentiment from My Pink Stamper's More Punny-licious set. The ribbon is from the Making Memories Just Chillin' collection. The Stampin' UP supplies that I used are: Curly Label punch, Butterfly Prints and Flight of the Butterfly stamps, Butterfly punch, Haiku dsp, Only Orange and Taken with Teal ink, and Whisper White cs. I even decorated the inside! Thanks for stopping by!

Scrapbook Steals Mid Week Mojo #26
For MWM #26, I decided to break away from the wedding photos and do something different. Actually, I spent a couple hours looking through all of my wedding photos and couldn't find any that I could cut down to a 3x3 size. So I decided to do my first page about our pets! These pictures are from March of last year about a month after we got them. Daisy loves to sleep with Dobby. As you can see he is not always that crazy about it, but he generally tolerates her! I used the Meow Cricut Lite cartridge to cut out the tag and paw prints. The ribbon is Making Memories. The pp is all from the American Crafts Abode collection and the Thickers are "Flat." Thanks for stopping by!! Only a few more to 100!!

The rest of the cardstock is Recollections. Thanks for stopping by!

Love!
Here is a quick Valentine's card that I made. I started by embossing my card base with a cuttlebug folder. The pp is from Stampin' UP. I punched the bottom of it with a Martha Stewart border punch. The ribbon is from Making Memories Love Stuck collection. The heart is from the Cricut Sampler cricut cartridge. The 2 little circle embellishments are looking glass stickers from Making Memories Love Notes collection. It's hard to see in the picture, but they have pink swirlies on them. Thanks for stopping by!

Just Married!
I am going a little backwards today. This sketch is from Scrapbook Steals MWM #23. This sketch came out the week after Christmas when I still had limited crafting time. And to be honest, I had no idea what I was going to do with this sketch. I am so glad I waited. I just needed time to mull over what I wanted to do and then I found the perfect pictures! These are the pictures of my husband and I as we were leaving our wedding reception and walking towards the car. Everyone was throwing flower petals as we walked out. It was funny to see how they landed on my dress! Here is my recipe:
Little Yellow Bicycle's Love Letters collection pp
Making Memories Wedding journal, and brad
Prima flowers
Tie the Knot cricut cartridge
I-rock gems
Stampin' UP: Rose Red marker and cs, Regal Rose cs, curly label punch

Scrapbook Steals Mid Week Mojo #25
Wow! It's MWM #25! We are halfway to the Ruby club already! I used Echo Park's new collection, Be Mine, for this LO. The black ribbon is from American Crafts. The pink ribbon didn't have a name on it so I am not sure who made it. I used my I-rock to add the gems. The Groomsmen title are Jewelry Box Thickers. The ticket stubs at the bottom are cut out from one of the sheets in the paper pack. The journaling sheet is not attached yet and should actually be a little lower. Since this is a page about my husband and his groomsmen, I am making him do the journaling. :) Thanks for stopping by!

Thank Ewe!
Here is another quick Thank you card! I used my new Create a Critter cartridge that I got for Christmas! I have seen so many cute projects using this cart and everybody said how easy the layers were. And let me tell you, they are SOOOO Easy! I wish all cartridges had layers this easy! I used this cute little sheep so that I could use the sentiment from My Pink Stamper's Punny-licious. And I hid the face bits on my gypsy so that I could add a cute little Peachy Keen face. Sadly, I do not have any of the "critter" faces so I had to use one from the Everyday Characters at 1". But I think he turned out so cute! The pp is from Making Memories wedding collection. The ribbon is American Crafts Boutique Noir. I stamped the sentiment with silver Colorbox ink and punched it out with my Stampin' UP modern label punch. It didn't come out as dark as I would have liked, but I didn't feel like doing it over. Oh well, Thanks for stopping by!

You're a gem!
Hey bloggie buddies! Here is a quick card I whipped up this afternoon. I used some of my new goodies I got for Christmas! I cut the diamond from the Once Upon a Princess cartridge. And then I ran it through my Xyron upside down. I sprinkled some Martha Stewart Crystal tinsel glitter on it. I have never used this kind before. It came out looking more "fuzzy" than I was expecting. But I think it looks cool. I used the Recollections kraft cardstock for my base. The background is Stampin' UP's Bravo Burgundy. I ran it through the cuttlebug with a folder from the Plum Blossom set. That folder is really cool! It did not turn out how I was expecting. I couldn't figure out which side was supposed to be the front. Both sides look really cool! The sentiment is from Pink By Design's Rock On set and stamped with SU's Bravo Burgundy ink. And the twine was a RAK from CardMonkey! Sometime before Christmas she had a post on her blog where she was offering 5 yards of bakers twine to anyone who wanted some. Since I had never used twine, I requested some. Thanks CardMonkey for your generosity! Thanks for stopping by!

Mojo Monday #172, CFTA #15, Throwback Thursday #151
I'm so behind on my Thank you cards right now. So I am glad there are a few challenges out there to kick me in the butt! This one was super fast to put together! I used the Tie the Knot cricut cartridge for the Thank you heart. I cut it at 2 1/2 and boy did the cricut not like that. It chewed up the words like crazy! I managed to salvage it by cutting around the letters with scissors. Hopefully it doesn't look too bad. My Stampin' UP products include: Real Red and Very Vanilla cardstock, and Sending Love dsp. The cute little heart brads are Making Memories. I am off to attempt another Thank you card! Thanks for stopping by!

Cheers!
Hey bloggie buddies! I am so glad to be back in the swing of things. Although, I have been so excited to craft again that I haven't done any cleaning! My craft room is quite the disaster right now! I can hardly see the floor! Well, there is always tomorrow! I made this card using the From My Kitchen cricut cartridge. My Stampin' UP products include: Always Artichoke cardstock and ink, Tempting Turquoise cardstock, Haiku dsp, and Chocolate Chip ribbon. "Cheers" is from Pink by Design's Girls Just Wanna Have Fun set. The cute little face is a Peachy Keen Dolly Dumplin at 5/8". And I used my Martha Stewart Ribbon Loop PATP that I got for Christmas (Thanks mom!). I cut the paper at 3 1/4x5. Thanks for stopping by!

Scrapbook Steals Mid Week Mojo #24, OTWC #39
I did this LO with the sketch from Scrapbook Steals Mid Week Mojo #24 and the color scheme from Off the Wall Craftiness #39. I used the Making Memories Wedding line for the papers, brads, and word-fetti. The title tag is from the Tie the Knot cricut cartridge. I used 7 gypsies monogram set for our initials. The ribbon is American Crafts. And hopefully my picture quality is going to improve because my husband got me a light box for Christmas! So let me know what you think! Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Anniversary!
Happy New Year bloggie buddies! Wow, where did 2010 go?!?! December was so busy, I didn't have as much blogging time as I would have liked. Thanks for sticking with me and welcome to the new followers that joined this last month! Today is my husband's last day of a 2 week vacation, so I should be able to get back to my regular schedule this week! My husband and I just celebrated our 1st anniversary on December 30th! We share this special day with his parents, my aunt and uncle, and my cousin! So I needed several anniversary cards! Luckily, Scrapbookaholic Abby is having a wedding/anniversary challenge! And since I have missed a couple of Scrapbook Steals Monday Card Madnesses, I used sketch #12. Here is my recipe:
DCWV La Creme pp
Stampin' UP's Rich Razzleberry cardstock, ink, and ribbon, basic black ink, decorative label punch
Pink By Design Scripted Year stamp
Thanks for stopping by!!
