Scrapbook Steals has started a new year of Mid Week Mojo's! The numbers have started over. This week is called Topaz 1. I also combined this sketch with the Paper Variety's Tic Tac Toe challenge. I really LOVE the sketch this week, but I decided to change it up a little and used a big background stamp instead of cutting out a bracket shape. I really like how it turned out. I used the Tic Tac Toe line of use journaling strips, use buttons, and make a one photo layout. DCWV's July Stack-a-holic Template Challenge

I love the monthly sketch challenges that DCWV has started doing! This sketch was perfect for these photos of my Dad's side of the family at the wedding! It all came together so easily!! I used DCWV's Black Currant (my fave still!!) and La Creme. I used the Lovely Floral cricut cartridge to cut out the biggest banner and then I freehanded the rest of them. Scrapbook Steals Mid Week Mojo #49

It's week #49 at Scrapbook Steals Mid Week Mojo! I can't believe we are almost at 50! Almost an entire years worth of sketches I have completed!! It's been so fun! This sketch was especially difficult for me. I have a hard time with the odd sized photos. I print all of my pictures in 4x6 and I could not find a big grouping of photos that could be cropped. So then I just focused on the first page. I was still trying to find some that I could crop. But it wasn't working out, so I just changed it to a horizontal 4x6. Once I picked out the pictures, the LO came together pretty quickly! I used Bazzill cs, Graphite Glimmer Mist, Recollections chipboard, American Crafts Boutique Noir ribbon, and Making Memories Paper Reverie Noir collection. Thanks for stopping by!
